Expressing my Gratitude!

thanksgiving-quote-9

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, in about two weeks’ time to be precise. This is the time of the year when we get together with our family and friends to express our gratitude, to say thank you for everything we have in our lives! I have always admired the concept of Thanksgiving, not just because of the day off or the yummy turkey feast, but the concept of it which says that it is a day of giving thanks for the harvest of the previous year.

In the blogosphere, we have thanksgiving almost every day when bloggers express their gratitude in the form of blog awards. As I mentioned in the last awards post I posted, I will be combining all the nominations into one post.

All of these awards have their own set of rules and requires the person accepting them to follow the rules. However, my main idea of posting the awards is to introduce to you lovely people the blogs of all those who have been kind enough to nominate me as well as introduce some new blogs by nominating them. Last time instead of answering questions, I provided ten random facts about me. This time though I decided to answer some of the interesting questions asked. So I managed to pick and choose some of the interesting questions to make a list that I will answer in this post.

thank you

Here are the answers to the questions asked to me in various award posts:

  1. Define yourself in five words.

Mother, daughter, sister, friend and human!

  1. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Good question, I was a total extrovert. My mom says it was difficult to make me shut up as a kid and teenager growing up. Life experiences turned me into an introvert. Now, after I had my son, I am working hard to go back to being that extrovert I was – more for my little boy’s benefit!

  1. If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would you be?

Well, I would like to trade places with my son, just so that I can understand his perspectives and probably that would help me become a better mom!

  1. What is your best quality?

I think I smile a lot. I am one of those people who believe that smile is a curve that sets a lot of things straight!

  1. Has blogging enriched your life? How?

Blogging and writing in general has enriched my life. It has given me a sense of direction, it has also made me a better reader. I get to read more and that in turn makes me write more. Nowadays, everywhere I go and everything I do, I look at it with the eyes of a writer!

Now, that the questions have been answered, here is a list of all the wonderful bloggers who nominated me for various awards!

  2. No worries, I just keep the list because I feel it’s only fair that we say thank you to the people who nominate us, I wouldn’t like to miss anyone out! Especially because I am a very forgetful person, so the lists help me! 😀
